This guide has been produced to help team members taking part in the Sheffield Sellers on Etsy: Christmas Online Market in November 2020…however the advice here can be applied to ANY online selling event you are taking part in – simply substitute all the references to our team resources and accounts for the organiser of the event.

You should be using your social media channels to tell your followers EXACTLY what/when the event is OR when you will be sharing live videos – and what they can expect to see from you during the event
The focus of your promotion should be hooking the attention of all your existing customers, followers, friends, family, neighbours, everyone! Tempt them, tease them, just get them interested in seeing MORE of you! (Heck, your dog’s uncle’s cat’s brother if you want!)
The organiser should be running the promotion to target a broad audience.
They should have the bigger picture in hand, YOUR focus should be on YOUR tribe!
