Back in October, we launched our 2019 Team Survey with the aim of finding out more about our team members. This is because a lot of the team planning is currently done based on feedback from a small number of the group and a lot of assumptions, which isn’t ideal.
Plans have always been made to please as many of the team as possible but this does not always suit everyone and we know that different people will have different expectations of the group. What we really wanted to discover was:
- Who our team members are
- What stage their business is at
- What motivates them
- What we can do to help them
- What engages team members, and conversely, what turn them off team activities
- What team members want to achieve by being a team member
We want to say a huge thank you to the 92 of you that took time to complete the survey – we were thrilled with the response rate! The results have definitely given us food for thought and we will be using them to guide next year’s direction.
