Heather G Designs

Hello, my name is Heather and I’m the creator behind Heather G Designs, a small local business which aims to bring you a splash of colour and fun with beautiful stained glass gifts and quirky greeting cards.

All my glass designs are developed from original drawings and are made using the ‘Tiffany’ style of stained glass known as ‘copper foiling’ Each piece of glass is individually hand cut and then refined by grinding to remove any sharp edges.To create the silver edge around the pieces of glass I apply a thin layer of solder. Finally I give my glass a coating of wax polish for a brilliant shine.

I also make a range of funny hand drawn cards using glass nuggets and offcuts of my stained glass. They feature a variety of different little creatures and often have a cheesy pun thrown in to make you smile!
